I realized at about 9:30 that tomorrow is March. I didn’t have time to change out of my Christmas pajamas!
Although this was listed as the song for beginners, I liked that it worked on going up and down the fret board and on speed. Those are two areas I need to improve. Plus, the simplicity of it allowed me to play from memory, which is another area I need to work on.
Recorded this a few times and this was the best. Was more focused on just hitting the notes than trying to add feeling to them, but something to keep working on.

pretty happy with how this came out other than i accidentally pulled a string in measure 4 and it made a loud noise!
I practiced here comes the sun most of the month but never got it to a point where I’d be happy with what i recorded so learned dream a little dream of me quickly. I’m going to keep going with here comes the sun though because that song is awesome!

I wasn’t able to practice enough to get this up to full speed but I’ll keep at it because I like this song!

I’m a little embarrassed to post this performance but I wanted to participate. I just didn’t practice as much as I needed to. Spent a lot of the month learning Come As You Are so hopefully that’s a challenge song soon!

Feel like one of my biggest issues is not hitting the strings perfectly with my left hand because I have to look at the music. So I’m basically just playing by feel most of the time. Memorizing a song such as this isn’t really an option with a family and a full time job. Anyone else have this issue or any suggestions?
