lisadmhParticipantSongs great, thanks for sharing! You’ve done really well with that fun song. It’s pretty fast.
Recording is so humbling, isn’t it? In my head I sound like Andrew but on a recording it’s a different world.

lisadmhParticipantThanks for the feedback Andrew. Yes I used rest stroke. I’ve gotten comfortable with that and it’s a challenge to go back to normal sometimes now!
Thanks again for the flamenco. Last week I had the opportunity to play it on a tropical beach. Bliss.
lisadmhParticipantWith the doubled G string? I haven’t gotten my hands on one yet but would love to. I hear it’s quite a learning curve to pick cleanly, but you can get both high and low g together or individually once you figure it out.
Certainly if you get one please post some songs for us. Feed my Ukulele acquisition syndrome….

lisadmhParticipantAwesome. Here we go again! Thanks for another challenge, Andrew.
I’ll definitely add to the Ukulele Kids Club. That was fun last year. Great organization. Do you know how much it costs per uke? That might inspire some of us.
Oh how I want to learn Father Figure, but alas, I am not an advanced player by a long shot. I’ll still see how far I can get on it.
lisadmhParticipantLol, so bad but yet so good! Glad you love it.
lisadmhParticipantBut they always do this. I have multiple books that have chords that don’t even remotely match up with the melody note. I’m clearly missing something…
lisadmhParticipantIs this what you’re looking for? Lots of songs have them. Pink panther is fun!
lisadmhParticipantI can fumble my way through level 2 and sometimes level 3 songs, but I can’t get anywhere at all with I’m yours and I’ve been playing for over a year and a half. I think it’s quite a bit harder than it claims to be.
Maybe try another song a bit and see if you can get it going a bit easier? No point in sticking so hard work one song that’s not working and getting discouraged with the uke overall.
lisadmhParticipantWelcome, Matt! I can’t wait to hear what tunes you bring us.
Beginner lessons are always welcome as they show me how far I’ve come. ☺

lisadmhParticipantI’m on 0h, 3, 1, oh, bbbbrrrroooom. I think that’s the official terminology.
lisadmhParticipantHey guys. She Talks To Angels seems relatively low g friendly. It requires a few tweaks in the middle but they’re easy ones just using the a string instead of G, and the low g sounds like a nice adaptation in parts.
Andrew, shout out for She Talks to Angels in an upcoming challenge. I love it and need the month long motivation! Maybe a classic rock themed month?
All, please post songs on here you find that work with low g. We need to use our new strings! 🙂

lisadmhParticipantGood jobs folks.
Anne, more healing to your husband. I’m glad he’s doing well. He’s clearly doing well enough to think clearly on Christmas gifts, wow! Nice.
Sprint, it’s called a ukiversary, lol. Awesome job at only 6 months.

lisadmhParticipantYeah it’s always out of sync, I don’t know why.

lisadmhParticipantI AM A PREMIUM MEMBER
Never close to perfect. It always sounds so much better in my head. But at least I got the harmonic! I’m getting it more often now, so that’s progress.
lisadmhParticipantThanks Becky! Every name I think of is morning this our that, or something like that. 🙂
