Hey everyone,

This month I decided to learn Scarborough Fair. Watching Evan’s performance of this song was the reason I first picked up the ukulele 6 years ago, and it was also the first song I started to learn on the ukulele. However, I hadn’t leant the complete arrangement, so it was great to finish learning it this month.

Hey,

This month I decided to learn “Song Of Storms”. This was a fun song to learn, and I’m really happy with how well the rhythm and melody parts fit together. I also didn’t have a Low G set of strings, so I borrowed a C string from another ukulele and tuned it to a G, so there might be some slightly sharp sounding notes here and there.

Here is April Smiles. I had to play it with a high G ukulele as I wasn’t able to get a low G set of strings in time. This was a fun song to learn, and I’m really happy with the sound of the duet version!

This month I learnt the “Stranger Things Theme”. Stranger Things is one of my favorite shows, so it was great learning the theme song. It was a bit difficult, because I broke my hand six weeks ago, and only got the splint off two days ago, so it’s still a bit hard to move my hand, but I still wanted to quickly learn it.

This month I learnt “March Of The Toreadors”. I’ve been very busy at School with A LOT of exams and assessments, so I only learnt this song today. I need to work on the end a bit more, but I’m having fun playing it. 😁
