Hello,

I am a premium member.

I am submitting Day-O as my first attempt. Yes, there were still glitches but I have been recording so many takes that I think this is the better one. Hopefully I can incorporate the backbeat+melody in my next submission. Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks Stephen for the feedback. It is so true that I was tensed when came to the challenging parts. I’ll work on playing in a more relaxed and lightly manner. Really appreciate your constructive feedback 😊 / Sheila

There has been a few times I wanted to give up the submission because I thought I wasn’t going to make it. I am glad I have done it 😊 I have chosen Lagrima.
I still need a lot of practice on the tempo. I found my ring finger was hard to place in the proper position. The biggest challenge for me is the transition from bar4 to 5 and to play from bar5 to bar8 smoothly with the suggested finger style.

Hello,

This is my submission for Feb 2020. I have chosen Amazing Grace. It seems like easy but I have done so many attempts and still not good. Oh well… but I am glad that I have learnt the new skill by playing the harmonics. Thank you very much! You all have a nice weekend ahead.

Stephen, thank you very much for your feedback. You are so rightly pointed out about my inconsistency in speed. Yes, I found the transition is particularly hard for me. I’ll slow down as advised. I am confident that I’ll improve with the help of the metronome. Cheers, Sheila

I watched the claw stroke again. I have totally mistaken. Thank you for pointing that out. I will practise it all over again. 😅

Here is my submission. A hiccup with the 4th strumming technique. Guess I need to slow down on each one and practice some more but don’t want to miss out the challenge 🙂

Thank you soooo much, Andrew. You are absolutely right that I found difficulties for the staccato strums. To do it slowly is great advice. I just have to be more patient. Will work on this technique as I like it, xx Sheila
