Thank you, @Andrew, it’s good to be back and yes, switching between chords is going to take some work because like @dianna my brain and my fingers seem to have different agendas! Coordination has never been my strong suit in anything, unfortunately! I’ll keep at it!

I am STILL a PREMIUM MEMBER! (ha!)

I haven’t submitted a video since June of 2023 and I feel like a beginner all over again. Ugh. I am reluctantly posting this one, but I know I need to participate in these challenges to get me back into a better practice routine. I’ve missed playing!

Last month I tried working on Blue Moon, but just couldn’t get there in time. Also, I was a little intimidated by everyone else’s performances- you are all so good!

P.S. Like my new profile picture? I got to meet my favorite recording artist, the GOAT jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli!

This was a real challenge for me. I didn’t think I could master it (still didn’t) but kept practicing. Very rough in parts.

I’m back after a couple of months of finger injuries on my left hand. A little rusty, but it feels good to be playing again!

Also, I hope this is OK that I posted this here. For anyone interested, I am in the hand bell choir at my church and this was our Christmas concert performance. We played “Do You Hear What I Here” and “Mary Did You Know” starting at 37:43. I’m in the front row, 2nd from the right in red. The audio quality isn’t great. Another challenging musical endeavor!

Definitely not the best I can do on this, but time is running out. I bit off more than I could chew this month. I’ll keep trying!!

I played video games in the 70s (Asteroids and Space Invaders, anyone?!) But, @Andrew, my son is your age and he played Zelda. I remember being in the kitchen cooking dinner while he was playing in the family room and hearing this sweet tune. So it brought back good memories for me to learn this.
