I started to practice “Harmonizing Chords” and recorded it. Then worked on this one because I felt I needed more practice on the chuck and decided to submit the “Feel Good Strumming” piece instead.

Here’s my attempt at Fingerpicking Etude #1. I didn’t have much time to practice since I will be going on a trip. Will have to practice at a higher tempo when I get back. It’s a fun piece by the way. Thanks for creating it, Andrew.

Thank you for your kind words, @Andrew! I used a Rocksmith cable to hook up to my computer and recorded it in Garageband.

I love the Campanella song but figured Haunted Uke is great to practice my timing skills, which is always good to work on. So I picked that one.

My choice this month was “In The Hall of The Mountain King”.
Between traveling and work it was not easy to fit in practice and recording. Did my best and hope it sounds somewhat descent.🤞🏽 Congrats to all participants on your submissions!Joanne 🤗

Usually I would have practiced more, but had not much time too. I started with Yellow Submarine, which is a fun song and I had picked out that one initially because I love to play my Lanikai with the high G string set up. However “Yesterday” let me push my self. It’s also a beautiful song to play, but I definitely need to practice more on this song. Which I will do even after the challenge 🙂 Wishing all participants good luck!

This was a nice opportunity to play my low-G uke again. Had to pick between the Waltz and Minuet. I love both but since I already know to play the Waltz, I thought I challenge myself and picked this piece. Good luck to everyone in this challenge!!

I loved learning and playing Matt’s arrangement of “Deck The Halls”. Not saying that I really did a great job, but I enjoyed it and did my best.
Here’s my submission for the month of December.
I also love The Christmas Song and I’m also working on that. However that’s still above my paygrade 🙂Happy Holidays!!

I have noticed as well that I tend to accelerate towards the end. I’m working on it.Really liking the tripe strum technique and I’m now learning to play St. Anne’s Reel.

Hi, Here’s my attempt doing the Triple Strum Etude. I’ve recently bought this Kanile’a long neck soprano and it is a joy to play it. However, it would pair really well with a concert size 😜 😄. Would really love to win the wonderful Island version of the Kanile’a concert uke. 😍
