I still have a lot to practice on this piece so this is more of a work in progress. But I won’t get further this month. 😱 Bar 3 and 7 seemed impossible for me at the beginning so I’m quite proud that I now sometimes make the strings sound okay – but still with a delay. 😅

I did the Celtic etude for fretting with the thumb. My first mini lesson by the way, should have tried one earlier, they are really cool.@Andrew Thanks a lot for your feedback! 😊 I only realized my “too much movement” with the left hand when I watched the other entries. 🙈
Here is my attempt at Etude no. 16. First I thought it’s quite easy, but then I realized how fast it is. 😀 I made it to 100 % almost in the last minute, but it’s still quite a race for me.

this is my 24th submission in a row. I’m very proud that I didn’t miss a single monthly challenge in the last 2 years. And I wanna say a big Thank you to the team of RockClass101! You do such an amazing job in arranging beautiful songs and teaching these arrangements to your students. I started with strumming and singing (though I can’t sing very good) and I’m very happy that you brought the fingerpicking to me. 🙂So here is my submission for December:

Hi everyone, I tried Luigi’s Mansion Theme. I’m not a big gamer and didn’t know the melody but I enjoyed learning it. 🙂 As my mobile destroyed my best take with reminding me of something (and of course it recorded the reminder), I go with the second best. 😉 This time without a beautiful backdrop – just the wall of my living room. : D
Thank you very much for your feedback, @Andrew! I just can’t count the 3 chord part. Think I have to listen to it a 100 times more to get the timing right.

As autumn has not yet arrived in Germany, I was able to record in the Asian garden. Enjoy!This song needs roundabout 100 more play-throughs, but September isn’t long enough for that. I recorded in a room with blue glass bottles as roof. I like the sound there. 🙂
Still in holidays, so I chose the easy way out. Recorded this in a beautiful gorge in Bavaria, Germany. Don’t love the last chord by the way, but I think you can hear that. LOL
This challenge was quite a journey. LOL Started with the 50s Rock & Blues, then realized that I wouldn’t get it down in one month. Switched to Danger Zone, realized that I would have to record in our holidays, so I thought it too complicated with the backong track. Aura Lee was my last chance. Enjoy!
